Some users attempting to log in to Retail Online, through the Remote Login from Sunset Bank’s Home Page, are prompted to answer a security question at login, regardless of the browser or attempts to “Remember this Computer”. This situation does not prevent you from performing banking functions within Retail Online. Our service provider has issued a temporary work around. Do note this will effect other sites with credentials marked with “Remember Me” for logins.

 

Temporary Workaround

  1. Customers can answer the security question each time they are prompted to do so. They will then be able to access Retail Online.
  2. Customers can clear their cache and cookies to prevent receiving the security question when logging in to Retail Online.

For customers using Chrome:

  1. Click Chrome Options (the ellipsis in upper right corner of the screen)
  2. Click More Tools
  3. Click Clear browsing data
  4. Click on the Advanced tab
  5. Ensure that Time Range equals All Time
  6. Checkmark all available boxes
  7. Click Clear Data

 

For customers using Internet Explorer:

  1. Click Tools > Internet Options
  2. In the Browsing history section, click Delete
  3. Check the following boxes:
    1. Temporary Internet files and website files
    2. Cookies and website data
    3. History
  4. Click Delete

NOTE: If steps 1-4 do not work, perform the following steps.

  1. Click Start (icon in the lower left corner of the screen)
  2. If the ithe Operating System (OS) version is less than Windows 10, click Control Panel

OR

  1. If the OS is Windows 10, type Control Panel in the search box
  2. Click on Control Panel from the Best match section of the search results
  3. Type delete browsing into the search box in the top right corner of the screen
  4. Select Delete browsing history under the Internet Options header
  5. In the Browsing history section, click the Delete button
  6. Check the following boxes:
    1. Temporary Internet files and website files
    2. Cookies and website data
    3. History
